In Japan, as far as I know, there are many such examples in the Diocese of Nagasaki and it is not an exaggeration to say that they embody the process of development of the reproductions of the Lourdes Grotto in Japan. Therefore, in this simple paper, based on the investigation of documents and field as well as written survey results, I have introduced and analysed some examples of construction of replicas, specifically those erected in the churches of the Diocese of Nagasaki. Through this procedure I think I have been able to shed light on the construction of the models of the Lourdes grotto that appeared after the primordial Lourdes-like grottoes erected in Japan-which I had considered in a previous paper of mine-. At the same time, I have tried to classify the models of the sacred grotto of Lourdes. In Chapter 1, I outlined the current situation of various Roman Catholic dioceses of Japan, beginning with the diocese of Nagasaki. In Chapter 2, I have introduced my surveys and investigations. In Chapter 3, after mentioning the focus points in the overview, I outlined the general characteristics and forms of the reproductions of the sacred cave in each church on the basis of my surveys. Finally, in the fourth chapter, trying to classify such models, I summarized the development and expansion of the reproductions of the sacred grotto of Lourdes.}, pages = {3--34}, title = {ルルドの聖洞窟模型の日本における展開―長崎大司教区の築造例を中心に―}, year = {2017} }
